Feliz Navidad

I had a great Christmas this year~ On top of spending time with my dearest loved ones, I also feel renewed in spirit :D

On Christmas eve, we had our Christmas gathering at xh's house, and her rooftop is so beautiful!!! Not in the mood to write anything now so I'll just post the pictures haha

Christmas is coming!

Wow I haven't posted in awhile... But meh, nothing much has happened. Just the usual holiday stuff. I decided to stop working so I don't have much money to get nice gifts this Christmas, sorry in advance :( Anyway I didn't quit my job because I'm lazy, hope no one thinks that :/, but cos I felt like it was taking too much of my time and I was neglecting more important things because I kept chasing money.

Went with Charis to this cafe that I must promote! It's called Crossings Cafe and it's really amazing because all the profits go to the less fortunate and it also gives them job opportunities. The food is nice and cheap too~ Read more here!

BIRTHDAY + other stuff

So I'm finally writing this after >1 month... Thanks everyone who wished me and gave me really sweet cards and notes, or just made my 20th special in any way~ I don't feel any different but when I think about the fact that I'm no longer a teenager, I just feel weird lol

Sesame passed away :((( I adopted him after June found him outside her house a few months ago and the vet said he was really old already so his death was expected, and I'm glad that he went peacefully and didn't suffer.

The Refinery

Yesterday was a great end to October~ Tiff, Grace and I went to The Refinery for lunch and to catch up. I was really happy cos I haven't seen Tiff in a really long time and I was starting to miss Grace even though I met up with her not too long ago lolol #overlyattached

And the café was super beautiful! It was really bright haha I love bright cafés/places~ And also I'm really in love with my new phone's camera!

Color Run 2015

This a super throwback post haha. In August, Grace and I went for the color run at sentosa and even though I really enjoyed Grace's company for the day, the run was not really worth the money that we paid.... #heartpain haha. It's cos the sun was super bright and hot at that time, and there were literally hoards of people omg. Crowd + heat (especially heat) are the two things that make me complain NONSTOP. Thanks Grace for putting up with me and trying to get me to see the bright side heh :/ Anyway here are the photos!

It was quite fun after the run ended and they played music and people were jumping and throwing the coloured powder around~ plus it wasn't so hot anymore hahaha (main point for me lol)

Anyway the past few months have not been easy for me, but I've come to realise that all that's happening will make me a stronger person :) God really speaks to me in mysterious ways. I was at my friend's place the other day, and we were just gossiping and talking about life in general, and she was talking about something that was bugging her. Then she said this, "I know that after this I will stand up stronger." And I realised that we all have problems, some worse than others, but in the end, struggle makes us better people.

And I'm so thankful to Charis for always being someone I feel safe talking to, because she never judges, she never tries to preach about what is right or wrong, and she empathizes with me even in the times when she doesn't understand me. I love you Charis, thank you for everything :") <3

And here's to better days ahead~

Monday Brunching

Viva Gold is finally over!!! It was a satisfying night, seeing the months of training paying off~ And now I finally have time to do my throwback blogposts haha. This one's about brunch with Charis last month <3

Smoke + Mirrors

So much to blog about but so little motivation now... I have been without my laptop for > a week now T_T because it spoilt and Asus took so damn long to repair it, plus I have no time to go all the way to freaking Tai Seng just to collect it. And I couldn't even repair the screen because it's freaking not under the warranty (ridiculous shit) and I'm too broke to afford the repair. Sorry for the angst, I'm super tired now and my mind is filled with STRESS STRESS STRESS STRESS. So I'm really grumpy, and I'm trying extremely hard not to take it out on others so I will just have to vent it here.

Anyway last month on the 25th, Bel and I went for the Imagine Dragons Smoke and Mirrors concert at the Indoor Stadium. We didn't know any songs from the Smoke and Mirrors album but I like their old songs from the Night Visions album (which we used to listen to every night for a period of time LOL). 

Actually Bel and I didn't particularly want to go but daddy bought tickets for Bel's birthday but all her friends were studying for prelims so she had no choice but to ask me lolll. She also blogged about it here.

Besides the really nice set design, their live performance was really amazing! Bel said it was even better than the CD lols. Plus the atmosphere was so high and I was smiling and singing (the songs I knew at least lol) throughout the concert~~ yay so glad we went hahaha

Ok now back to being emotionally, physically and mentally drained. Toodles~
