All the time, everywhere

"Don't worry or fear about your future, or even your present circumstances. He's in control. He's always in control. Breathe."

Today I saw this picture and caption on my instagram, and they struck me almost to tears. I know it seems silly that this could make me so emotional, but these are the words I really needed to hear, even if they were coming from a stranger on the other side of the world. (It reminds me of how amazing my God is, that He manages to sneak these little things into my life when I really need them. Things that are easily passed off as random or happenstance are actually so carefully and lovingly crafted by Him.)

Recently I've been worrying a lot. Probably because I'm so free now and have so much time to think about stuff.... and my mind always wanders to the future. I worry about graduating from uni, summer school, internships, finding a job, starting a family, having enough money and the list goes on. Some of these thoughts and prospects for the future scare me so much and I constantly worry that I don't and will never have the capabilities to be an adult in the harsh world.

Seeing this caption reminded me that God provides. He has always provided and will always continue to do so. Even when things seem to be going downhill in life, God always has His hands on the wheel and all we have to do is give our best and have faith, and God will do the rest. That doesn't mean that I stop worrying, it's made me realise that it's ok to worry (it means that I care), but I  just have to learn to entrust all my doubts and troubles to God, because He knows what He's doing.

HAKONE
~~~
We took the train from Tokyo to Hakone, and stayed there for 2 days. It's a mountainous region and the towns are far apart so we had to spend a lot of time travelling. We bought a transport pass which was about SGD50, which is super worth it cos the bus rides cost an average of SGD10 :O We could also use the pass to take the railway, boat and cable car, so yayy hahaha
The scenery was so beautiful and the air was so fresh ~
Oden, my love (  ิ౪ ิ )っ─∈
Caught a glimpse of Mt. Fuji~ *_*
five fifteen
The month just flew by?!?! Only 2.5 more months of freedom ヽ(T-T )ノ
I'm back here to immortalize some memories on the internet~
(sidenote: omg so happy I figured out how to edit my html code to make my pictures clearer on blogger yayy)
I went out with Grace on her birthday!!! We just had dinner and talked and shopped, nothing super special, but still meaningful. So thankful for this friend who is incredibly beautiful and strong.
Aaaand... Tiff's birthday was exactly 1 week later! Tiff couldn't meet up with us, so Grace and I planned to put her present in her mail box / outside her gate so that she would find it when she came home. But... as we were tying the balloon to the gate, Tiff's car suddenly drove up to the gate !!!!! Hahaha #fail :(
Tiff with her cute bunny balloon~
And of course no blogpost of mine is complete without food pictures ~
Kilo at Pact! I still don't understand how something so healthy tasted so good....
Eggs and Berries ~(‾⌣‾~)
AAANNDDD.... Bel got confirmed on 23 May!!! I'm so happy we have God in our lives, I really don't know how we'd cope if we didn't. He has not only drawn us closer to himself, but also to each other. I'm so happy that Bel relies on His guidance when she is troubled or stressed, because the relief He brings is sweeter than any other~
Here's to an awesome June ahead~ (^・o・^)ノ”
Southern Islands
Yesterday Grace and I went to St. John's and Lazarus island for a picnic, and to take some photos! The island was so beautiful and I love that it's relatively untouched by modernization (except for some litter :(). Whoever says that Singapore is boring and that there's nothing to do here is so wrong, you just have to look in the right places~
There were so many cats on St. John's island, and they were so adorable *_* I died and went to cat heaven ฅ(˘ω˘ )ฅ
This is the ultimate photo-taking spot hahaha (along the bridge from St. John's island to Lazarus island) :
Our picnic! Grace made sushi and it was so delicious~
The ferry back also stopped at Kusu island on the way back to the mainland and let us explore for an hour. By then Grace and I were so tired and sunburnt that we just sat down on a bench and drank our ciders haha.
It was a great day! So thankful for great company too :) Off to nurse my sunburn now haha
